Something To Believe In
For those you love
Unsaved Loved Ones...
You pray for them.
You preach to them.
You tell them about the love of Jesus.
You tell them about God's great gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
You quote scriptures to them.
You leave tracts and books around the house.
Perhaps you drag them to church every Sunday.
Why won't they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior?
Why do they resent you for caring?
The answer is simple and it's staring you in the face...
THEY DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD!
If they don't believe in God, they don't care about Jesus.
If they don't believe in God, they don't believe the Bible.
If they don't believe in the Bible, they don't care what it says!
If they don't care what the Bible says, they won't read it!
If they won't read the Bible, and they don't believe what you tell
them, how will they be saved?
My name is Steve, and I used to think just like your loved ones.
Much worse, I accepted Christ as a young man and then backslid into a
life of secular humanism.
For over 25 years I mocked Christianity and all those who knew Jesus.
I pursued a successful career in information technology and placed all
my faith in science and reason.
I knew better!
I knew that all religion was bunk.
I knew that believers were nothing but deluded fools who needed a
crutch to get through life.
I was impervious to scripture because I knew the Bible all too well.
My loved ones who were believers couldn't quote the Bible to me because
I knew it chapter and verse!
I also knew science.
And I knew reason.
I knew it all.
Or did I?
I didn't count on one thing.
Prayer
My family prayed for me .
And they prayed.
And they prayed.
For 25 years they prayed.
And then one morning...
I woke up.
And God was there.
I wasn't thinking about Him.
I wasn't looking for him.
He was just there!
The night before I had gone to bed knowing that there was no God.
In the morning I awoke knowing beyond all doubt that He was my Creator
and that Jesus Christ was indeed my Lord and Savior!
I could feel Him. He was real.
Can I explain this?
Of course I can.
It was God's plan for me all along!
I sincerely believe that during my years of "exile" God was educating
me in the mind of the unbeliever.
As a computer software engineer I became a master of logic.
I used logic to "prove" there was no God.
I used logic to "prove" that science explained everything.
Now I know how atheists think!
As a business professional I also learned how to write.
I learned how to reduce complex concepts into simple, easy to
comprehend facts.
I learned how to make a point.
But now I make a new point.
I make the point for Jesus.
So I wrote a book.
My book is called "Something To Believe In"
My book is for your unsaved loved ones.
It speaks to them in their own language.
It uses logic and reason.
It's not very "religious"
In fact it's quite down to earth.
You might not even like it.
But it will speak to your loved ones.
It will make them think about the possibility of God.

Only the Holy Spirit can do that.
And you must pray.
Like they prayed for me.
